The Peculiar Patriot, written and performed by Liza Jessie Peterson, is a one-woman show about Betsy Laquanda Ross and her peculiar perspective on the concept of being a patriot and a P.O.W. She is a victim, a survivor and a warrior of this country's prison industrial complex.
