Vladimir Olshansky is back! He has toured the globe with Cirque du Soleil and performed as a principal in Slava Polunin's critically acclaimed Snow Show all around Europe. Now, after a successful premier in Moscow, Vladimir comes to New York's 13th Street Theater for one night only with his new one man show The Path of a Clown. The Path of a Clown is an intimate journey through the various stages of the high art of clowning. Vladimir Olshansky digs deep to reveal the true nature of the clown, bringing us into a world that is a complex balancing act of comedy and drama. Using the language of Visual Theater, The Path of a Clown reflects the familiar twists and turns of the human experience through pantomime, gesture, clown and circus arts. Through a series of emotionally moving and visually striking sketches, The Path of a Clown introduces us to a clown that has the power to invoke uncontrollable laughter as well as profound thought, culminating in a moving experience that is unforgettable.
