WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Consisting of new works by Evan Cabnet, Marcus Gardley, Lisa Kron, Michele Lowe, Dan O'Brien and Mat Smart, The Obstruction Plays explore what happens when writers challenge each other. Slant Theatre Project asked Sarah Ruhl, Naomi Izuka, and Lee Blessing to lay down five "obstructions" - rules for their fellow acclaimed playwrights to play by in creating new works. The result is an evening of six short plays.
There are no performances on Wednesday, November 22 or Saturday, November 25.
