The Norman Conquests

The Norman Conquests explores the romantic exploits of Norman and his extended family as he tries to spend a "dirty" weekend with three special people. Each of three plays centers on a different area of Mother's country house as a single weekend unfolds. Table Manners takes place in the dining room as Norman vows revenge after one sister-in-law forbids another to spend a weekend with Norman. Living Room occurs when Norman gets drunk on homemade dandelion wine and charms hapless guests. Round and Round the Garden follows Norman's drunken conversations with his sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, and local veterinarian. Lise McDermott directs for smatter theatre ensemble.
