WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

Love Creek Productions presents The Making of a Fine Salad, by John Lisbon Wood, directed by Liz Forst.

In this dark comedy about the unraveling of the American dream - at least for one family - Louse, a Martha Stewart wannabe, is about to see her dream of hosting her own cooking show go up in smoke. Her husband, Brian, a plastic surgeon specializing in breast implants, is facing a class action suit and her daughter Kelly, a star athlete turned crack addict is also being sued - for assault. Worse yet, Kelly's threatening to reveal the whereabouts of an illegal Mexican immigrant who has mysteriously disappeared - news that could topple Louise's empire for good. Salvation comes from an unlikely source - Louise and Elliot's profoundly retarded daughter, Sarah.
