WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
True Comedy Theatre Company presents a double bill of two rarely performed plays The Leader and Improvisation as part of The Ionesco Festival. The Leader, a short play directed by John Hagen, juxatoposes scenes of brief encounters of young lovers with scenes in which an announcer and two admirers wait for the title character. In Improvisation, three scholars attempt to manipulate and bully the playwright into "artistic correctness."
