THE OPEN BOOK, a thirty-four-year-old New York City theatre company, presents the 11th annual production of The Last Christmas of Ebenezer Scrooge, an intricate tapestry of the real and the supernatural, written and directed by MARVIN KAYE, who adapted his novel of the same name for the stage. The performance features H. CLARK KEE, STACEY JENSON, NANCY TEMPLE, and the author.

Eleven years after The Carol ends, something disrupts Scrooge's contented life of good deeds, a haunting sense of injustice that the transformed old man knows he must address in his remaining months--if only he knew what it was.

Echoing Dickens' story, mercy and love reap reclamation at the eleventh hour in THe Last Christmas of Ebenezer Scrooge. Happiness is restored forever.
