WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Gallery Players presents The Laramie Project, by Moisés Kaufman and the Members of Tectonic Theater Project. On October 6, 1998, 21-year-old college student Mathew Shepard was murdered in Laramie, Wyoming. This horrific hate crime is the basis for the script based on a collection of more than 200 interviews of citizens of Laramie conducted by the Tectonic Theater Project of New York. The Laramie Project is the Our Town of our time. Appropriate For Ages: 13 and older
