Monica's spirit has been crushed by decades of marriage to a man who, unable to cope with his inability to have children, grew increasingly cruel and distant. Now she clears out the past and finally begins to stand up for herself. Written by award winning playwright Dermot Bolger. Performed by Katherine O'Sullivan, best actress nominee, 1st Irish Festival 2009.

Part of 1st Irish 2010, NY's annual festival for Irish theatre.
1st Irish, powered by Origin Theatre Company, runs from September 7 through October 4. 1st Irish is New York's first and only all-Irish theatre festival.
