Join Mouse on a journey through the deep, dark wood in a musical version of the award-winning picture book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler. The Gruffalo is the tale of a little mouse who ventures into the forest on the hunt for hazelnuts but encounters a variety of animals that prefer Mouse for lunch! In order to scare off the wheeler-dealer Fox, the stuffy curmudgeon Owl and the maraca-shaking, party-animal Snake, Mouse invents an imaginary friend named the Gruffalo. Over eight-feet tall with orange eyes, knobby knees and purple scales, the Gruffalo is the scariest beast in the forest. Little does Mouse know that this fabrication actually exists, and it will be necessary to outwit this faux protector as well.
