WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Set in the "City of Mermaids," Weeki Wachee Springs, The Florida Project explores imagined human stories in the shadow of the kitsch roadside culture of Postwar America. When a family of alligator wrestling brothers are displaced from their reptile farm by real-estate developers, they attempt to find a new home. Acclaimed downtown auteur Richard Maxwell is featured in the cast of writer/director Tory Vasquez' latest work.
