WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

The woods are alive with magic, melodies and mayhem in this dark and playful trip through fairyland's sinister parallel universe. In this contemoporary Brothers Grimm, both original and familiar fables are twisted together with haunting lullabies, macabre nursery rhymes and hopeful dreams of light. Vengeful children hunt those who wronged them...a married couple finds themseves caught in the gnarled arms of darkness...and an inchworm battles the inevitable heartbreaks of life in this sincere and unpredictable play with music. There are just ten performances of The Fairy Tale Project - written by Webb Wilcoxen, directed by Jill DeArmon and which features original music by Webb Wilcoxen and Daniel Harnett. The show is a development production from LAByrinth Theater Company, which previously produced Our Lady of 121st Street, Dirty Story, Where's My Money and Jesus Hopped The "A" Train.
