The Wooster Group presents a limited run of their production of Eugene O'Neill's expressionist play, The Emperor Jones. Directed by Elizabeth LeCompte, the show is performed by members and associates of The Wooster Group, featuring Kate Valk, Ari Fliakos, and Scott Shepherd. The production is set to original music by composer/percussionist David Linton, with video by Christopher Kondek, and set design by Jim Clayburgh. The Emperor Jones tells the story of Brutus Jones, self-appointed emperor of a West Indian island, as he flees from both the natives he has exploited and his own haunted past.
