The Diary of a Dancer
Tickets and Information
Opened Jan 21, 2010
WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Eighty-something Mary Shennanbargger only wanted one thing in life... to dance. After packing 200 years of experiences into her 80 years, she has dedicated herself to teaching the next, next generation the in's and out's of the theater world. She will share plenty of stories and lessons as she thumbs through her personal diary, documenting her humble beginnings in her hometown of Moonshine City, Illinois and her journey to the Big Apple. You are invited to pull up a chair, have a glass of orange soda, and enjoy a circus peanut or Werther's as Mary shares a few pages from her diary of life. Some people go through life trying to forget their past, while others cling to it as the only thing they have to live for.
