A driven, eccentric tap dance master coaches a feisty group of inner city teenagers for final tryouts for one of the most popular shows on Broadway in The Dance, a new tap dance play by Andre Brown. The kids sing, do impressions, comedy, rap, and infinitely complex tap routines. But will they make it to the Great White Way? This world premiere is based on the playwright's experiences in the Broadway workshops of Bring in Da Noise/Bring in Da Funk. Sheridan Roberts directs, with choreography by Brown and Dustin Conley.
