WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
The Brick Theater and Terrible Baby Theater Co. presents The Colonists: A Puppet Show, directed by Robin Frohardt. The Colonists is a lyrical fantasy, inspired by the fascinating and alien world of the bee. Developed by Nick Jones and Raja Azar (Jollyship the Whiz-Bang) in Bangkok, and developed through a grant by the Jim Henson Foundation, it tells the story of an earthworm who dreams of flying, a rabbit with a penchant for pie making, and a journey of discovery into the pollen collecting-industrial complex. By utilizing electricified insect puppets, small scale pyrotechnics, and very eccentric music, The Colonists aspires to delight and amuse you. THIS SHOW HAS NO WORDS. FOR THIS REASON, THERE IS NO FOUL LANGUAGE. BECAUSE THERE IS NO FOUL LANGUAGE, IT IS APPROPRIATE FOR CHILDREN. UNLESS THEY ARE AFRAID OF BEING SEEN AROUND CHILDREN, ADULTS CAN ALSO ATTEND.
