WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
The Cat Who Went To Heaven is based on a 1931 prize-winning children's book of the same title written by Elizabeth Coatsworth. The story is set in a small Japanese town and involves the fates of a starving artist, his housekeeper, a cat, and the Buddhist priest from the local temple.
This show is inspired by Bunraku, Japanese Traditional Puppet Theater Music and lyrics by Nancy Harrow Based on the book by Elizabeth Coatsworth Directed by Will Pomerantz.
