The Burning Bush is a one woman traveling spiritual road show! Barbara Baumawitz, an overly earnest and dedicated Rabbinical student has just been kicked out of school for being too serious. Guided by her Fairy Godmother who takes the form of Jackie Mason, she accidentally wanders into the Tit for Tat Strip Club. While observing the men watch the dancers, she realizes no one has ever looked at a Rabbi like that! So, with the help of her new friend Christy, a Madonna obsessed exotic dancer, Barbara discovers a whole new way to 'reveal' the Truth!
