WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Room5001 Theatre and Nate Barrall present its revival of The Black Crook, an original magical and spectacular drama in which will also be played the tragic history of its author, Charles M. Barras. Originally performed at Niblo's Garden and universally admitted to be the most brilliant spectacle of Modern Times, this production will mark The Black Crook's first appearance on a New York stage since 1896.
Conceived, adapted, and directed by Joshua William Gelb from material by Charles M. Barras, Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, & Christopher Marlowe.
