WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Where to we go when human connection seems impossible?
Twelve characters weave in and out of each other's lives, but moments of raw human connection are few and far between. While phone calls from loved ones and even strangers offer fleeting opportunities to break from the past, each character finds the distance between who we are and who we'd like to become is often unbridgeable. With desperation, humor, cynicism and hope, these men and women long for love. Yet all too often they have only one foot in the here-and-now and another foot in a place of tomorrows, the Black Continent
