WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
The Basset Table transports audiences from the English Restoration to a 1950s television studio in director Rachel Ford's imaginative adaptation. A trendsetting widow-in-the-know, Lady Reveller, must choose between the thrill of a straight flush or the security of a proper marriage.
