Sonnet Repertory Theatre's Bard's Backyard series features staged reading workshops that allow the creators to work alongside theatre professionals as they continue to develop and explore their material. Sonnet Rep jump-starts BBY05 by presenting three intricate and laugh-out-loud one act plays by Kevin Brewer, an award winning playwright.

Jinx won The Riant Theatre's 2004 Summer Strawberry One-Act Festival and Road to California was written for Boomerang Theatre's 24-hour Rock-and-Roll theatre festival. The Girl and the Devil and the Hermit and Hell is taken from Kevin's adaptation of Giovanni Boccaccio's The Decameron entitled Stories. This one-night-only must see event is followed by a reception celebrating BBY05! Sonnet Rep guarantees a night of hilarity!
