When a disgruntled temp-worker uncovers an underground network of revolutionary-minded employees within his office, his health, relationship, and ideals are pushed to the breaking point. Born at Soho Rep's Writers/Directors lab, Chris Talbott's (Book and Lyrics) and Tim Robert's (Music) The Asthma Conspiracy focuses on J.J., an asthmatic who has made a permanent life out of temporary employment. Dividing his time between monotonous days and nights in an obscure rock band with his girlfriend, J.J. is nearing his breaking point and his health, relationship, and future all hang in the balance. Caroline Laskow directs.
