The WorkShop Theater Company presents a collaboration with the NAACP. The WorkShop hosts three performances of the group's fourth annual ACT-SO Evening of Theater. The evening presents plays created and performed by New York City teens. ACT-SO is an acronym for Afro-Academic, Cultural, Technological and Scientific Olympics. ACT-SO is a yearlong enrichment program designed to recruit, stimulate, improve and encourage high academic and cultural achievement among African-American high school students.
