WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
In Texarkana Waltz, Louis Broome intertwines Wild West parody with Elizabethan tragedy to create a blazingly funny yet poignant story about a family healing from its troubled past. Eddie and Emma Wickett are deeply in love, and life on their Oklahoman farm seems just perfect until, inexpicably, Eddie commits the unspeakably violent act of killing Emma in front of the kids. Years later, the siblings try to recover and create a new life together.
