Taylor Mali has a mission. He wants to be the individual responsible for making an entire generation of college graduates consider teaching before business or law school. He wants to be the spokesman for teaching's nobility, the poet laureate of passion in the classroom. Teacher! Teacher! is his poet laureate calling card, an account of his life as teacher and poet, describing how those two seemingly separate professions influenced and enhanced each other.
