Carl Reiner's All of Me is one of Susan's favorite movies. She loves the absurdity of its plot and Steve Martin's display of physical genius in his portrayal of Roger Cobb. Cobb is a lawyer who represents the dying spoiled millionaire, Edwina Cutwater (Lily Tomlin), who wishes to have her soul transferred into a younger woman, her stable-keeper's daughter (Victoria Tennant). Instead, through misadventure, she finds herself sharing Cobb's body. This tale of bodily displacement, in a way, also parallels the transposition that takes place in Susan's 208 East Broadway series with the relocation of her living room to theatrical spaces.
