WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Sunset Motel is a night of two original one-act plays, both set in an off-the-map motel in Joplin, Missouri. Spend the night with us and watch a bumbling salesman hook up with a former child star, and a road weary folk singer bond with a lonely groupie. Will they check out or will they sleep in...? Paper Thin - Clark has just finished performing another set in what seems to be an endless series of sleepy Midwest towns when yet another groupie comes knocking on his door. Instinct tells him to let it be... but when has he ever listened to his instincts? Family Values - Jason is just passing through on his way to an office supply convention when he encounters local "celebrity" Amanda. They meet, they make out... then their worlds are turned hilariously upside down by an errant phone call and a pocket rocket. In a cross between the sensibilities of Sam Shepard and Neil Simon, these pieces will provoke, amuse, and ultimately uplift. Please note this production contains brief partial nudity.
