Turtle Shell Productions is happy to be back with an original, multi-faceted menu of 24 plays in our 2011 production of Summer Shorties, Summ...Er Not. This year, we've had an especially exciting, original crop of submissions from award-winning playwrights, home-grown and international, ranging from the topical, to the futuristic, the zany, and the insightful explorations of relationships - a satiric take on Roy Cohn checking out the gay scene in the afterlife, two competitive half-sisters at their father's funeral, a clown with an identity crisis, to name a few. The 24 plays we are presenting, are written by innovative, award-winning playwrights who come from across the country and internationally: Michael Bettencourt, Dan Borengasser, Mark William Butler, Suzanne Dottino , Stuart D'Ver Mark Farnen, Raymond Fast, Joe Godfrey, Stephanie Keys, Nina Mansfield, Terry McFadden, Scott McCrea, James McLindon, Pat Montley, Robert Wray, Eddie Zipperer.
