WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
This new comedy by Rob Brock follows two apathetic, unemployed actors struggling to find a way to jumpstart their still-born careers. In a moment of drunken "enlightenment", they decide to take a high-profile agent hostage for the purpose of auditioning for him. Needless to say, this does not go well, things go from bad to worse, wacky high-jinks ensue, everything snowballs and our story builds to a magically climatic comedic outcome that will change the way you look at life itself. (Okay, that might be overselling a bit.) Along the way, Stupid Plans Poorly Executed manages to tackle reverse racism, America's obsession with forensic shows, the evilness of Hitler's mustache, the art of procrastination, Shakespeare, Fred Berry's career arc and the uselessness of Swiss army knives as weapons.
