Amas Musical Theatre in association with Jim Steinman and Mary Keil present the Tony-nominated sci-fi adventure by Barry Keating and Stuart Ross. Featuring an electrifying pop score, Starmites 2001 tells the story of Eleanor, a shy teenager who is mysteriously thrust into her favorite comic book. Awakening in Innerspace, she discovers that she is the legendary Milady, a teen superhero who must team up with the Starmites to save the Universe from the forces of evil. Standing in her way is a colorful assortment of Bowie-esque villains including the flamboyant Diva, the Queen of Innerspace and her Banshee Warriors--weird women with dangerous hairdos. With the help of the boyish heartthrob Spacepunk, Eleanor ultimately finds her strength within and defeats her foes.
