WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
World Music Concert South Indian Vocalist K. S. Resmi with percussionists N. Scott Robinson & Glen Fittin K. S. Resmi is a skilled classical vocalist from Kerala, South India. She is the foremost disciple of Dr. K. Omanakutty and now studies with Smt. Lalitha Shivakumar for Carnatic music (South Indian classical). Resmi also studied Kathakali padams from Sri Nelliyode Vasudevan Namboodiri (traditional music of Kerala). Her training in Hindustani music (North Indian Classical) was with Sri Ramesh Narayan. She also studied Carnatic vina studies with Smt. Kamala Lekshmi.
