WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
An evening of two one-acts. Sorry, Wrong Number, by Lucille Fletcher is a one-act mystery/thriller from the famous radio show of the 1940's. A wealthy, bed-ridden woman overhears a phone conversation (due to a crossed-wire connection), of two men plotting to murder a rich, upper east side woman, that very night.. She comes to realize the murder is intended for her. Hello From Bertha, by Tennessee Williams, is about a prostitute's tragic final hours and her struggle to dignify the one decent relationship in her life.
