WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
A new musical by Broadway performer, Andrea Frierson-Toney, inspired by 1941 field recordings and the famous Gee's Bend, Alabama Quilters. The musical follows an African-American family of tenant farmers beginning in 1934 as they struggle to re-build their lives. Gerry McIntyre directs and choreographs.
