This may need to get better with age..!
The cast made great efforts and did what they could in the circumstances. The material may need some editing and there was a good ending wasted about ten minutes before the actual ending. It was not unenjoyable but Needs work best sums it up.
I also hope the theater survives this sort of facillity is necessary for new work to be tried out and refined. Good luck 13th Street Rep.

RE:Glad It Was Complimentary
The singing and overall performance was mediocre. Had I paid more than the ticket fee for this performance, I would be a little miffed. The plot is not bad, with the right combo of actors, this could be really entertaining. The theatre room is no bigger than a bedroom in a Manhattan apartment. If youre tall, watch out for the pipes above the back seats. LOL The performance was 1.5 hours with no intermission. After the performance, the owner of the theater comes out and plead for donations to sponsor the fight against her landlord who is trying to buy her out and get rid of the theater. That was a little unexpected and heartbreaking.
Oh yeah, forgot about the "hors douevres....rippled potato chips & onion dip for those whom donated and/or wanted to just hang out.. Makes for an interesting night at the theatre. ^.^
PS. Hopes the owner wins the battle, shes a gem of 92 years young who LOVES the theater and put on shows for 37 years.
