WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Sister is a wonderful series of very short plays about the lives of women of color. Sister is dramatic, comedic and thought provoking all at once. For this run of Sister you will see 3 very interesting and entertaining short plays:
1.Miss America: Vivan will do anything to see her 18 year daughter to become Miss America. But Vivian is so obsessed with this goal that she can't even that she that she's slowly destroying her daughter's life. Starring Denise Collins and Melissa Abreu.
2.GO Titans: Claudette, a conservative upper middle class white woman from Memphis, Tennessee gets the shock of her life when her brother introduces her to his new African American girlfriend from Brooklyn. Starring Amy Victoria Morse and Candice Fortin.
3.Movie Night: Nina thinks that her best friend Vicky is living her life like a complete whore and is convincing her to change her ways. Will their friendship survive? Starring Christina Williams and Tonya Edmonds.
