John Olive adapts Louis Sachar's collection of children's books Sideways Stories From Wayside School. Wayside Elementary school is a wacky world where Myron, Dameon, Leslie, Rhondi, and Bebe attend class on the top floor of their 30-story school. (An architect accidentally built the school's 30 classrooms on top of one another rather than side-by-side.) This zany classroom adventure is filled with tornado drills, talking pigtails, and wicked teachers who turn students into apples. Journey amidst the craziness as the Wayside students learn some valuable lessons about life.
