Seagull: The Musical, a melancholic comedy, features book and lyrics. by Nancy Weber & Vadim Zhuk, with music by Alexander Zhurbin.
Medvedenko loves Masha, Masha loves Kostya, Kostya loves Nina, Nina loves Trigorin, and Trigorin loves fishing... What do seagulls have to do with anything? Chekov called his play a comedy and at long last the creators of Seagull: The Musical are taking him seriously.
