WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Salvatore LaRussa Dance Theatre returns for its NYC season at Merce Cunningham Studio.
bound (World Premiere)- In bound, the spectator is stolen off into the chaos, confusion, and allure of nightlife. Dancers are swept away into the often tumultuous ebb and flow of attraction, noise, and the mystery of libido.
render (2008)- In render, self is extracted, exhibited and restored.
Dancers surrender within the journey and find themselves through the mass. The loss of love, spirituality and power are fulfilled through the exploration of ritual and ceremony. Help me to let go. Save me from falling. Who will be my savior? Guide me to a new life.
