WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Although set in the 1950s, this story could be about any struggling class family with a son who strives for a better life through service in the military. Safe Home's hero is a Marine killed in the Korean War. Young life cut short, dreams denied, passionate moments, unfulfilled love, and fiery confrontations, tell this story of one family in Buffalo, New York. It illuminates the effects of a country at war on the lives and spirit of the people connected to those who put their lives on the line.
