Directed by Michael Barakiva Sunday November 9, 7pm THE WITCH OF EDMONTON By Thomas Dekker, John Ford, and William Rowley This Jacobean tragicomedy about the nature of evil receives a rare and strikingly inventive hearing. Directed by David Grimm ("Kit Marlowe") Featuring Morgan Jenness as the Witch Tuesday November 11, 7pm DANTON'S DEATH By Georg Büchner As the French Revolution spins a new world order, idealism turns to terror. A remarkably modern tale from the pen of Germany's most experimental playwright. Directed by Christopher McCann Sunday November 16, 7pm PHAEDRA By Elizabeth Egloff ("The Devils") Amy Irving plays the queen of desire in this visionary adaptation of Euripides' tale of obsessive love. Directed by Jesse Berger Featuring Amy Irving and Ruth Maleczech Join in for this celebratory Red Bull Theater benefit evening. A special wine reception with members of the RBT Company follows the reading of PHAEDRA featuring Amy Irving and Ruth Maleczech. Admission $20.
