A Benefit Reading of Desdemona, a Play about a Handkerchief by Pulitzer Prize-winner Paula Vogel, starring Mamie Gummer, Jessica Hecht, and Jennifer Ikeda, directed by Red Bull Theater Artistic Director Jesse Berger, with special guest Paula Vogel. Live music follows the Benefit Reading, featuring singer-songwriter Addie Brownlee. This is Othello, as seen from the perspective of the women in the play - a satirical and provocatively alternative view of Shakespeare's tragedy.
