Bernice Lee's Rachel is a musical based on the life and times of President Andrew Jackson's bright and romantic frontier wife. Rachel illuminates the tragic effects on the life of Rachel, a spirited frontier wife, who was falsely branded a bigamist, adultress, and lying cheat. Andrew Jackson's best attempts to shield his beloved Rachel from the barrage of false attacks ultimately failed. Scott Pegg directs.
