Combining humor and compassion with uncompromising honesty, Pvt. Wars follows the irreverent doings of three exceptionally engaging and often heartwarming veterans of the Vietnamese War as they tease, torment, entertain, exasperate and, on occasion, solace each other in the sitting room of an Army hospital, maintaining throughout a hilarity which belies their deep concern about the uncertainties of the civilian world to which they will soon be returning.
