Cameo Theatre Company presents an explosive and compelling two-act play entitled Precipice, written by David Mikhail, that centers around people who have lost the power to mute their past. In one story this lack of strength will affect the life of the individual. In another story this weakness will affect the lives of others. Rodney E. Reyes & Joseph Vega direct.

Act I: In Ramallah, Chris, a US human rights monitor, is trapped in Yasser Arafat's compound with Tariq, an advisor with the Palestinian Authority. Chris eventually develops a rapport with Tariq despite the revolver that is seemingly attached to Tariq's one hand. Starring Palestinian actor Mousa Kraish, this story brings to the stage the struggles of the region with a harsh realism that is as harrowing as it is insightful.

Act II: In Manhattan, Jessica, an eighteen year-old, solicits the services of a man named "C", a member of a secret society dedicated to the cause of human autonomy. As C the "practitioner" begins his duties, he finds himself tested, questioning whether he possesses the "autonomy" that will allow him to provide the same independence Jessica desires.
