WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
When Nicole Blaine was younger, she was the unlikely resident of a crack house, as well as a caretaker to her younger brother due to her mother's addiction. With very little to smile about, she often found solace in the powerhouse comedy line-up of NBC Thursdays. These were her only "Friends" and Jennifer Aniston was her BFF. Flash forward years later and Blaine is a struggling Hollywood actress trying to make inroads when she happens upon Aniston in real life. In the tampon aisle at Rite-Aid Aniston tells her the best way to get noticed is to do a one-person show. Blaine agreed and decided to retell the hard truth of her childhood. Hilarity ensued! Pipe Dreams is a surprisingly humorous tale of strength and triumph of the human spirit.
