WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Penny Dreadful Episode 8: Caldwell and Viernik vs. the Creatures of the Night reunites Pinkerton detective Leslie Caldwell and would-be magician The Amazing Viernik in a desolate Nebraska town in 1910 as they follow clues to the truth about the mysterious creature known as The Black Dragon. During their journey, they encounter such historical figures as publisher Joseph Pulitzer, author Jack London, and William Howard Taft. Meanwhile, the members of the twenty-first century group of inventors known as The Impossible Club continue to be hunted by the beautiful Assassin, who seems to possess the power to turn herself invisible.
