Pen Pals, by award winning playwright Barbara Kahn, imagines an America with right wing Christians in power -- civil rights destroyed. In this America two women, one a Christian fundamentalist, one a radical lesbian, navigate a friendship begun in adolescence. An insightful and touching drama of the conflicted America we are daily becoming.
