Stacy Dawson and David Neumann borrow the most superficial aspects of Asian cultures (Japanese anime, Hong Kong kung fu movies, Peking Opera), mixing them with equal parts drag and sci-fi in Pearl River, an assemblage of "Chinoiserie gone bad."
