WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

Joanna thinks too much and works too much, and she's just starting to remedy dating too little, when she falls in the snow and doesn't wake up for three years. Now that she's finally conscious, everybody just wants her to get back to normal. But normal is so strange these days -- and why's it still snowing? In this ebullient yet yearning exploration of life and its detours, recovery might take longer than expected. The Vital Theatre Company presents Susan Bernfield's play, Out From Under It, directed by Alexandra Aron.

The story of Joanna, a young advertising executive whose life is too hectic and whose relationships are strained, Out From Under It asks questions about the meaning of time in our fast-paced society. When Joanna, played by Addie Johnson, goes out on a date with Calvin (Saxon Palmer)[...]
